Abandoned Shed Along the Point Reyes National Seashore

Abandoned Shed in Point Reyes

Last summer Mrs. Jeffsetter and I enjoyed a weekend hike at the Point Reyes National Seashore just northwest of San Francisco. The area reminded me a lot of the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa. Beautiful cliffs, raging waters, and lighthouses for boat traffic.

While the day was overcast, the redness of this “shed” – at least that is what I am calling it – really stood out in the photo. I have been meaning to go back to Point Reyes on a clear day to get more photos, and hope to get there in the next month or two. It will have to wait until I get back from Switzerland, Austria and Germany, though.

I am quite excited to be visiting the alps next week. It will be nice to test my new HDR photo skills somewhere outside of California.
