If you are into urban hiking, you will have a hard time finding a better opportunity than climbing up to the top of the Twin Peaks in San Francisco. Start out at ground level and work your way up about 1,000 feet to get this view of the city.
The hike takes a couple of hours to complete, but you will have plenty of time to rest while admiring the views below. If you go in the late winter, you will have the added bonus of seeing Mustard in full bloom.
